Altasri Labs Cetirizine Hydrochloride 50mg Bolus is a second-generation antihistamine formulated for livestock care. It is intended to help manage allergic symptoms associated with skin conditions such as dermatitis and hives, as well as respiratory allergies, insect bite reactions, and urticaria. By blocking histamine H1 receptors, cetirizine can help reduce itching, redness, and related discomfort, supporting animal comfort and wellbeing. Allergic signs can have different causes and may resemble symptoms of other health problems, so an appropriate assessment is important before treatment is considered. A veterinarian can evaluate the animal and help determine whether the signs are consistent with an allergy or whether another cause needs attention. The bolus format offers a convenient option for administration as part of an appropriate veterinary care plan, particularly when a veterinarian has determined that an antihistamine may be suitable. Each blister pack contains 4 easy-to-administer boluses, with the individual blister packaging helping keep the boluses together until use. Keep the product in its original packaging until needed and check the packaging for any product-specific storage information. Store and handle the product as directed on the packaging or by the veterinarian, and keep it secure and away from animals that are not intended to receive it. Follow the veterinarian’s instructions for administration and storage, and do not use the product for animals or conditions unless advised by a veterinary professional. Do not assume that the same treatment is appropriate for every animal or that a particular amount or schedule will suit all cases; the veterinarian should provide directions for the individual animal. Do not change the administration plan or give additional doses unless the veterinarian instructs you to do so. Use only as directed by a veterinarian, who can assess the animal’s symptoms, determine whether this product is suitable, and provide guidance on its use. Share any relevant information about the animal’s health and other treatments with the veterinarian so they can make an informed recommendation. Seek veterinary advice if symptoms persist, worsen, or are accompanied by other concerning signs. Prompt veterinary attention is especially important if the animal appears severely unwell or has difficulty breathing. Keep the product packaging available when seeking advice, as its information may help the veterinary professional identify the product and offer appropriate guidance.
